HK Porter, Inc. (Porter) sheds light locomotives in the United States since 1866. The company became the largest producer of industrial locomotives, and built nearly eight thousand of them. last locomotive was built in 1950, but the company continues to manufacture industrial facilities today.
Porter was the construction of locomotives, which were much smaller than those typically used in railroad Class I known. Locomotive Company were so small they are often operated by one person. Porter steam locomotives built for the most part, but also builds engines for gasoline and diesel, and some that run on compressed air.
